Why the Greatest Gift You Can Give Someone is Your Own Personal Development
*Edit* This was a post I meant to have up on September 1st, but I never hit publish!*
Hi!
How was your summer?
It’s been a minute since I published my last book, Color Outside the Lines back in June and things have changed a lot since then! Thank you to everyone who supported it – and for sharing it with anyone who felt like they needed a little bit of inspiration in creating their dream life and getting rid of all that anxiety and stress over being someone they were not.
Since then, I’ve been learning all about online business and spending my time building my tribe and sharing my message across a wider platform on YouTube, and which is why you’re getting this update! On this platform, I’ll be sharing all things personal development, life design, creativity, and simplicity, so if those topics resonate with you, check out my channel and subscribe below!

In the meantime, I want to leave you with this message:
“The greatest gift you can give somebody is your own personal development. I used to say, ‘If you take care of me, I will take care of you.’ Now I say, ‘I will take care of me for you, if you will take care of you for me.” ~ Jim Rohn
It starts with YOU. Just like the culture of a company suffers if the CEO is stressed out and angry all the time, if you don’t take care of yourself first, it will trickle down to your family, friends, children, partner, etc. Some people think it’s selfish to focus on themselves first, but how can you have healthy and happy relationships if you don’t love and care for yourself first? Be an inspiration to others and they will learn from you, and then everyone benefits in the end.
Feel free to drop me a message and let me know something you want to improve in your life, or if there’s anything you want me to talk about in future videos.
